Abby Wambach

In 2001, Abby made her debut for the U.S. against Germany and has been a mainstay forward since earning 157 caps and scoring 120 goals. Her 120th goal v Brazil in the quarter finals of the 2011 WWC v Brazil puts Abby as the 4th all time goal scorer in the world and sets the record for the latest goal scored in a WWC match (122 minute of extra time). Wambach hails from Rochester, NY and played at the University of Florida where she holds the school record of 96 goals.
